Celebrity heights look wonderfully simple until you ask where the number actually came from. For these 23 stars, I have separated direct statements and credible published figures from estimates that have simply circulated online.

Taylor Swift

Reported height: 5 ft 10 in to 5 ft 11 in (178–180 cm). Confidence: Reported. This is one of the cases where a single neat number hides a genuine source disagreement. People listed Swift at 5 ft 10 in in its 2026 celebrity-height feature, while 5 ft 11 in has also appeared widely in profiles.

Dwayne Johnson

Self-reported height: 6 ft 4 in (193 cm). Confidence: Self-reported. Johnson described himself as a "six-foot-four" professional wrestler during his 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards speech, a statement reported by The Guardian.

That is more useful than the 6 ft 5 in figure that has circulated in some celebrity listings. Johnson has made several height claims over the years, so 6 ft 4 in (193 cm) is best treated specifically as his own stated figure rather than a documented measurement.

Zendaya

Self-reported height: 5 ft 10 in (178 cm). Confidence: Self-reported. Zendaya answered the question directly in WIRED's autocomplete interview with Tom Holland and Jacob Batalon. Asked how tall she was, she gave 5 ft 10 in.

Self-reported height: about 6 ft 3 in (191 cm). Confidence: Self-reported. This one comes with unusually useful context. During GQ's Actually Me interview, Hemsworth encountered a listing of 6 ft 2¾ in and replied that he thought he was about 6 ft 3 in.

The difference is only a quarter-inch, so I would not manufacture precision the source itself does not provide. About 6 ft 3 in (191 cm) accurately reflects Hemsworth's own answer.

Ariana Grande

Reported height: roughly 5 ft 0 in to 5 ft 2 in (152–157 cm). Confidence: Reported. This is another height where respectable publications do not give a single consistent answer. Allure described Grande in 2021 as barely over five feet, while People's 2026 height feature listed her at 5 ft 2 in.

Without a documented measurement, the disagreement is more informative than choosing whichever number appears most often online.

Jason Momoa

Self-reported height: 6 ft 4 in (193 cm). Confidence: Self-reported. Momoa gave this figure himself while speaking to People for a January 2024 interview, describing himself as 6 ft 4 in.

Because the number comes directly from Momoa rather than a visual comparison or celebrity database, 6 ft 4 in (193 cm) is the clearest public figure available. It remains self-reported rather than documented because the interview is not a formal measurement.

Lady Gaga

Reported height: about 5 ft 1 in to 5 ft 2 in (155–157 cm). Confidence: Reported. Lady Gaga's height is commonly published around this narrow range, but I do not have a primary documented measurement that justifies presenting either endpoint as exact.

Ryan Reynolds

Self-reported height: 6 ft 2 in (188 cm). Confidence: Self-reported. Reynolds supplied the figure himself in a 2012 Forbes interview about a custom motorcycle. He explained that the builder had taken his 6 ft 2 in height into account.

That direct statement is stronger than a copied biographical listing, and CBS had also described Reynolds as 6 ft 2 in in 2010.

Scarlett Johansson

Self-reported height: 5 ft 3 in (160 cm), with older statements of 5 ft 4 in (163 cm). Confidence: Self-reported. Johansson is a useful example of why old quotations should not be silently discarded. Self-reported height: 5 ft 0 in (152 cm). Confidence: Self-reported. Carpenter provides a particularly clear source because she refers to herself as five feet in her own work. The cleanest reference figure is therefore 5 ft 0 in (152 cm), with the sensible caveat that casual height statements are normally rounded rather than clinical measurements.

Reported height: about 5 ft 11 in (180 cm). Confidence: Reported. Pitt is commonly listed around 5 ft 11 in, but I have not found a strong primary measurement in the sources reviewed here.

Nicole Kidman

Reported height: 5 ft 11 in (180 cm). Confidence: Reported. Kidman's 5 ft 11 in figure continues to appear in mainstream biographical coverage, including People's 2026 celebrity-height feature.

The figure is consistent enough to use as the reported height, but consistency is not the same thing as a documented measurement. I therefore keep the label at Reported.

Timothée Chalamet

Reported height: 5 ft 10 in (178 cm). Confidence: Reported. Biography.com lists Chalamet at 5 ft 10 in and attributes that measurement to his IMDb profile.

Idris Elba

Reported height: 6 ft 2½ in (189 cm). Confidence: Reported. The Independent supplied the unusually specific figure of 6 ft 2½ in in a 2011 profile of Elba.

Other coverage has rounded him to 6 ft 2 in (188 cm), including the Irish Independent in 2010. The half-inch difference is exactly the sort of harmless rounding that creates apparently conflicting celebrity-height listings.

Billie Eilish

Self-reported height: 5 ft 4 in (163 cm), with lower published estimates. Confidence: Self-reported. Eilish has been quoted describing herself as 5 ft 4 in, while specialist height estimates have placed her closer to 5 ft 3 in (160 cm).

Leonardo DiCaprio

Reported height: about 6 ft 0 in (183 cm). Confidence: Reported. Vanity Fair's 2016 account of DiCaprio's Titanic body double described the double as 5 ft 9 in and DiCaprio as six feet.

An earlier in-person Cherwell profile likewise described DiCaprio as a good six feet. Those are independent published descriptions rather than a formal measurement, so 6 ft 0 in (183 cm) remains a Reported figure.

Dua Lipa

Self-reported height: 5 ft 8 in (173 cm). Confidence: Self-reported. Dua Lipa has publicly stated that she is 5 ft 8 in, including a direct response disputing claims that she was 5 ft 10 in. A WIRED appearance also records her giving 5 ft 8 in.

The exact imperial-to-metric conversion is about 172.7 cm, conventionally rounded to 173 cm. Because the original figure is her own statement rather than an independently documented measurement, the correct label is Self-reported.

Pedro Pascal

Self-reported height: 5 ft 11 in (180 cm). Confidence: Self-reported. Pascal has given the number himself more than once. In a TV Guide interview he described himself as 5 ft 11 in, and a 2022 Vanity Fair statement likewise had him identifying his unshod height as 5 ft 11 in.

The useful takeaway is not that every celebrity has one perfectly knowable number. For several stars here, the best answer is a sourced range or a clearly labeled reported figure. That is more accurate than turning an inherited internet number into a fact simply because it has been repeated often.
